A Georgia man faces fees of felony aggravated cruelty to animals and cruelty to animals after allegedly turning off the water provide to poultry homes.
In response to a report from the Athens Banner-Herald, the suspect, Huy Dang Nguyen, is a disgruntled former worker of a farm that may be a contract grower for Pilgrim’s Delight.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Workplace (MCSO) started investigating the Nguyen after each the house owners of the farm and Pilgrim’s Delight reported issues with him. The farm house owners had terminated Nguyen’s employment and ordered him to depart the property, which included six broiler homes.
