SERVES 4
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped garlic clove
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp star anise
- 500g pork mince
- 5cm piece of finely grated contemporary ginger root
- 20 finely chopped dried Turkish apricots
- 3 Tbsp chopped contemporary parsley
- 100ml full-cream pure yoghurt, combined with 2 Tbsp chopped contemporary parsley and 1 Tbsp lemon juice, to serve.
- Warmth the oven to 200°C.
- Warmth the oil over average warmth in a pan, and fry the onion and garlic till the onion is translucent.
- Tip the cooked onion and garlic right into a mixing bowl, and blend with the remaining substances.
- Divide the combination into 4, and mildew every round a skewer.
- Place the skewers in a greased oven dish and prepare dinner for 20 minutes. Serve with the yoghurt dressing and flavoured fried rice or toasted flatbread.
