Methodtothemagic runs today in the 5.35pm at Worcester – a two and a half mile mares only novices handicap hurdle.  Surprisingly there wasn’t a lot of rain at Worcester and hopefully she will like the ground as she appears in good form at home.

Roody Toody ran a promising debut race at Kempton on Wednesday.  Up against some stiff opposition, she looked wonderful in the paddock and showed a great attitude and we look forward to her gaining more experience soon.

It was great to welcome so many owners to our syndicate morning on Saturday.  Everyone was treated to watching two lots on the gallops as well as a very enjoyable breakfast bap.  It was great to raise a glass of fizz to the racehorse at the end of National Racehorse Week which appears to have gone very well.  We look forward to next year being even bigger and better as the industry comes together to celebrate the thoroughbred once again.

It was nearly a dream end to the week on Saturday with the King and Queen attending Doncaster races to see Desert Hero run at an excellent third in the St Leger.  It was a memorable day for the sport and I am sure the King’s mother would have been particularly pleased with the whole occasion.
