5 year old male German Shepherd Dog available for adoption

Max is a 5 year old male German Shepherd Dog. “I was found abandoned in November 2022 behind the gate of a volunteer in Puglia (in southern Italy) around 11 p.m.

I was in very bad condition: hungry, underweight (you could see the bones) and my fur was very dirty.

I was then taken to safety in the shelter where I had the chance to gain weight! Living behind bars in a shelter is way too stressful for me, and it makes me suffer too much. I need a family and a home to call my own.

As you can see I am a wonderful German shepherd; I am also affectionate, playful, and sociable with people, female dogs of medium and large size dogs (NO SMALL DOGS, NO CATS / RABBITS).

I need to learn how to socialise with male dogs as I only see dogs in the other cages.

2 months ago I was lucky to be taken out by a volunteer to the beach, I was so good and travelled well in the car, I walked well on the lead and enjoyed playing.

Max needs an experienced owner. He is very intelligent and learns new things very quickly, He loves to play ball and will bring it back to you. Max is looking for foster or adoption in the UK in any area.
